Claire and Sebastian were at a stage where the next home needed to give their young family a little more room to grow.
They were naturally drawn to Preston and Reservoir, where they already had family and friends nearby and knew the rhythm of the neighbourhoods. Parks, cafes, schools and childcare were all part of the appeal, but more importantly, it was an area where they could see themselves putting down roots.
They also had a clear idea of how they wanted to live. With busy working lives, they weren’t looking to spend the next few years renovating or managing a long list of projects. They wanted something considered, comfortable and ready for family life from day one.

What we did
This was a highly focused search. We knew the part of Melbourne that mattered to Claire and Sebastian, so we stayed close to it and became very active in the off market space.
With both of them busy with work, our role was also about making the process feel easy. We arranged private, back to back inspections around their schedules, giving them the chance to see multiple options without the search becoming another burden to carry.
Over time, three or four genuine contenders emerged. We worked through the strengths and compromises of each one together, until the right property became clear.
It was a brand new four bedroom home in Reservoir, found off market, and it felt like the right fit from the moment it came together.
A home that worked for their family today, while giving them the space and flexibility to grow into it for years to come.
